This month we are shining a light on one of our Inside Sales Representatives, Chris Sullivan.

Meet Chris Sullivan.

Chris joined HR in March 2021 as an Inside Sales Representative, where he helps generate interest in HR Pharmaceuticals’ products and build relationships with hospitals and health systems. Chris describes HR as being family, reliable, and fun! Outside of work, Chris enjoys Olympic-style weightlifting.

What is your role at HR?

I am an Inside Sales Representative. I make sales calls to acute hospitals, and some non-acute space, to try and gain business from those hospitals & health systems for our products EcoVue Ultrasound Gel, HR Lubricating Jelly, and Surgilube. Once the business is secured, I follow up with current accounts to ensure customer satisfaction.

How long have you been working at HR?

I started at the end of March 2021, so about 10 months.

What skills do you leverage in your role?

My ability to communicate effectively with people, good listening skills to help solve problems, and my work ethic to stay proactive in reaching out to potential customers & staying up to date with current accounts. 

What is your favorite part of your job?

The challenge of finding the right person within a potential hospital or health system, developing that relationship, and then, in turn, using that relationship to help that hospital through their internal process for bringing in new products and seeing it to the finish line. 

Has there been a favorite moment for you while at HR?

Winning our inside sales team momentum award within 7 months of being hired and the company kickball game.

Family, reliable, and fun

What advice would you give to a new team member at HR?

If you have questions ask them, constantly try to learn as much as you can (it’s a never-ending process), and be yourself with your own personal attributes.

What is a fun fact about you many people may not know?

I own a great dane and do Olympic-style weightlifting as a hobby.
