HR Employees Volunteer at Local Non-Profits to Celebrate National Volunteer Month
HR Pharmaceuticals, Inc. celebrated National Volunteer Month this week.
National Volunteer Month was founded in 1991 as an extension of National Volunteer Week, created in 1974, to call attention to the importance of volunteering and honor the contributions volunteers make by donating their time and talents to various causes.
This year, several HR employees donated time to four York County organizations to give back to our local community.

“National Volunteer Month is the perfect opportunity to get our team together and showcase their talents, energy, and compassion for local community non-profits,” says Colby Wiesman, President. “Together, we can make a difference, and we are proud to support many of our local organizations and their commitment to helping those in need throughout York County.”
HR team members visited:
- Salvation Army to assist with office clean-out so the Salvation Army can begin their food pantry expansion.
- Harvest of Blessing to hand out food to over 100 families and individuals.
- Bell Socialization Services to help move items to the Salvation Army thrift store.
- York Habitat for Humanity to help drywall the Chestnut Street Revitalization Project.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered this week. We can’t wait to do it again next year!
