Employee Spotlight – Lisa Ritt

Welcome back to our Employee Spotlight series. Here at HR, we feel very fortunate to be surrounded by such amazing colleagues, each possessing a diversity of skills and expertise.

This month we are shining a light on our Executive Assistant, Lisa Ritt.

Meet Lisa Ritt.

Lisa is our Executive Assistant, providing administrative support to our President and the Executive team. She is a rockstar at coordinating company-sponsored events, including our Holiday Party and Employee Appreciation Picnic, and loves giving back to the community through our various initiatives. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, daughters, and their dog, Tonka.

What is your role at HR?

I’m the Executive Assistant at HR. My job is to provide administrative support to the entire Executive team, primarily to the President of HR. Additionally, I coordinate all company-sponsored events, arrange for donations and charitable giving, plan volunteer initiatives, execute employee uniform and corporate apparel orders, as well as any miscellaneous projects that need to be done.

How long have you been working at HR?

I just celebrated my 3-year work anniversary!

What is your favorite part of your job?

I really appreciate the opportunity to give back to our community. Volunteering and charitable giving are near and dear to me and I take pride in seeing the team come together to make our local community a better place for all residents. My favorite charitable giving initiative is around the holidays when we sponsor families and children in need through our local Salvation Army. Having the opportunity to make Christmas magic come true for people who might not have otherwise is really special.

Has there been a favorite moment for you while at HR?

I really enjoy seeing the team come together for employee events. We’re such a solid group of employees that work well together and also enjoy spending time together outside of work.

What advice would you give to a new team member at HR?

Come in with an open mind and be prepared to learn, grow and have fun. Also, do not be hesitant to provide feedback and offer thoughts and opinions of ways to improve different areas of the business. We always encourage open communication and value every employee’s contribution to the growth of our company.

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

I would love to learn about photography. Also to play the fiddle!

You’re happiest when…

I’m spending quality time with my husband and daughters.

What are some hobbies you do in your free time?

I enjoy taking our dog, Tonka, to the dog park and watching documentaries.

Thank you, Lisa, for all that you do each day to help make HR such an awesome place to work!
