HR Pharmaceuticals Donates Hand Sanitizer to the York County Food Bank

HR Pharmaceuticals, Inc. a leading manufacturer of branded medical products, has recently made donations of individual hand sanitizer packets to the York County Food Bank.

HR Pharmaceuticals has donated 530 cases of ALLAVO individual hand sanitizer packets to the York County Food Bank. As a medical product manufacturer, HR was able to pivot to hand sanitizer production at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and has produced over 54 million packets of ALLAVO hand sanitizer to date.

Located in York County, HR Pharmaceuticals and its employees are proud to assist the local community and donate hand sanitizer to help ensure those in need can help protect themselves from COVID-19.

“We feel fortunate to be able to produce and supply hand sanitizer to our local community. We will continue to lend support wherever we are able to do so,” said Colby Wiesman, President.

Each week, the York County Food Bank provides groceries to hundreds of families during their weekly drive-thru food distribution. The non-profit organization saw an increase in the number of families seeking assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic. While the demand has leveled off slightly since the height of the pandemic, there are still people struggling to put food on the table.

The York County Food Bank plans to distribute the hand sanitizer packets throughout the community during food distribution, visitors at the center, and more.

The York County Food Bank is just one organization HR Pharmaceuticals has donated hand sanitizer packets to during the pandemic. HR has previously donated roughly 1 million packets of hand sanitizer to first responders, has helped Dallastown Area High School’s Health STAT Club create PPE Kits by donating 10,000 hand sanitizer packets, and has encouraged its employees to donate hand sanitizer packets to local municipal buildings.
