This month we are shining a light on one of our Quality Technicians, Shelly Nordsick.

Meet Shelly Nordsick.

Shelly is a Quality Control Technician ll and has been with HR for three years. One of her favorite moments while working here has been seeing the manufacturing facility undergo its renovation. Outside of HR, you can find Shelly volunteering at the Wrightsville Fire Company and spending time with her family and dog.

What is your favorite part of your job?

I like the fast-paced environment at HR and having a great manager makes my job so much easier.

What is your favorite part of your job?

I really enjoyed seeing the manufacturing facility undergo the expansion project. The newly renovated building is great!

What advice would you give to a new team member at HR?

My advice would be to give yourself time to learn the job before giving up. It’s a good job and given time you will learn to manage your time and enjoy the job.

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

If I could learn to do anything, I would learn how to be a counselor.

I’m happiest when I’m doing things for other people.

What are some hobbies you do in your free time?

I currently volunteer at the Wrightsville Fire Company and I enjoy spending time with my family and dog.
